Retreat Registration Details

Thank you for your interest in the Tending Eros Retreats! Below you will find our Terms and Conditions, along with our payment cancellation policy. 

Please read through these details, and when finished, click on the We’re ready to apply! button at the bottom of this page to continue to the application. You will be directed to fill out an application (where you can choose which Retreat you are applying for) and then to the deposit page. 

After we have received both your application and deposit, our Events Manager will be in contact with additional details about the remainder of your tuition payment.

The cost of our retreats varies according to the length of the program (i.e., 3 or 4 days), location, meeting venue, season, and the size of our staff. If we book at a site during the high season, naturally, the rates will increase. If we are at an all-inclusive retreat center, the cost will be higher than if we host the retreat at a venue without housing, and you arrange and pay for your food and lodging. The cost of on-line events varies according to the format and operating expenses associated with the program.

All prices are per couple and are set well in advance of the retreat start date. Prices include retreat costs only; they do not include airfare to and from the retreat and ground transportation (unless noted on the website). Resort gratuities, when applicable, are paid out of pocket.

We regret that we cannot make exceptions to our cancellation policy even in instances of personal emergencies, flight cancellations, or delays. It is for this reason that we want to make sure you have read and understood our cancellation policy before booking a retreat. We limit the number of attendees at our Passion and Presence™ retreats to allow for a more personable and intimate experience. Most of our vendors require us to make non-refundable deposits months in advance of the program, and our trainers fly in from Europe. Our cancellation policy ensures we can cover our costs even if you are unable to join us.

Passion and Presence retreats do not include national or international airfare. We strongly recommend you wait until we confirm that the retreat will run before booking airfare or making any non-refundable travel arrangements. We will notify you a month before the retreat if we have to cancel. If you want to purchase tickets in advance, please make sure you have insurance in place to get a refund if we have to cancel the event.

No one expects to cancel or postpone a retreat, but unexpected things happen when you least anticipate them. Time and again, we have seen instances in which a medical crisis, even a death, has prevented one or more couples from participating in our retreats. For this reason, we urge you to purchase travel insurance through a qualified agent to cover loss of income, medical emergencies for you or someone dear to you before and during the trip, a death in the family, natural disasters, and other unforeseen circumstances.

Some airlines offer travel insurance, but such insurance rarely covers more than your airfare. Depending on the policy and conditions, travel cancelation insurance will pay for some or all cancelation fees. With most agencies, you must purchase insurance within 14 days of making your reservation. 

While we do not endorse any particular company, we have heard positive reviews for World Nomads, Travel Guard, and InsuremyTrip. You can search on google for other companies and review the types of coverage and pricing options. Every policy and plan is different, so be sure to read the fine print. Depending on your credit card, you may also have trip insurance benefits as part of your cardholder status. 

Each traveler is responsible for obtaining all required travel documents, including Visas, for overseas travel and to purchase correct immunizations. Please contact your nearest travel clinic for the latest requirements.

  • We require a $500 non-refundable deposit per couple at the booking time to secure your registration. ($750 if booking for two retreats)
  • The full balance is due 45 days before the start date of the retreat.
  • Failure to make your balance payment at least 45 days before arrival may result in the cancelation of your registration and forfeiture of your deposit.
  • Cancellation requests received in writing more than 45 days before the retreat start date are refundable minus the deposit and a $100 administrative fee.
  • There are no refunds within 45 days of the retreat, with no exceptions.

NOTE: If you book within 45 days of the Retreat start date, you can still check the $500 deposit box, and you will be billed in full within 24 hours after putting down the initial deposit. 

If you are applying a discount code to your registration, please email our Event Coordinator at info@passionandpresence. Ashley will adjust your tuition accordingly—only one discount per couple, per event.

We do not offer refunds for “no shows” or late arrivals or early departures.

Our invoicing system accepts Paypal, Visa, Master Card, and American Express.

If we must cancel a retreat for any reason, you may transfer your full retreat payment to another retreat, or you may request a refund of your fee to us, constituting a full settlement. In such instances, we are not responsible for any expenses you incur in preparation for any canceled retreat, such as airline tickets, loss of work, or other costs associated with your trip. In the case of partial cancellation due to illness or injury to the facilitators during the event, a partial refund, equal to the proportion of sessions missed, will be refunded

You may transfer your registration to another couple according to the procedures in this paragraph. There will be no refunds given without prior authorization of the transfer by our Event Coordinator. Once approved, the tuition payment and a transfer fee of $150 must be paid in full at least two weeks before the event. We will add the other guests to our attendance roster and issue a refund once we receive the transfer fee and full tuition payment.

By registering for this event, you accept full liability for any harm you incur physically and emotionally by participating in the retreat. Please click here to read and sign our waiver.
